This service provides many various information for all Syiatel subscribers. only by activating the service on their cell phones.

Service Activation:
You can activate the service generally through the messaging icon in your handset (cell Broadcast, operator messages, Info messages…). You choose to activate the service and add the channels you want then mark or subscribe in the in the added channels.



The activation process is different according to handset model. Click here to have the instructions of activating Cell Broadcast service for many kinds of mobiles while activating the CBC service in most handsets models is almost the same and you can do it from: SMS settings – Cell Broadcast or information service.

Service Deactivation:
You can deactivate the service generally through the messaging icon in your handset (cell Broadcast, operator messages, Info messages…). You choose to deactivate the service or stop receiving messages.
Prices
The service is free.
  • Some CB messages are received empty because the handset model is unmatched  with the service e.g ( Samsung c10 and some Motorola handsets
  • Syriatel roamers can’t receive Syriatel CB messages at the same time, they can receive the host operator CB messages
  • Cell Broadcast service is related to the handset settings, so you need to activate the cell broadcast channels every time you change the handset
