Syriatel increases its support to the Syrian charities

In the context of a long-term agreement, Syriatel has provided “the Children's Rights Association”  in Syria with ten PC computers, in order to help the Association in developing its level of services. These devices will be distributed to children previously listed in the association’s program.

Many establishments such as the Directorate of Environmental Affairs, “daughters of martyrs” schools, as well as associations and other institutions, have been equipped with such devices , as part of the social responsibility of Syriatel- the first national company- .

The above mentioned agreement also supports the activities of “the Children’s Rights Association”, which will benefit from Syriatel’s used paper, for collection and recycling; creating extra income from the returns of the recycling, supporting the organization’s various community services.

The cooperation and coordination processes between Syriatel and “the Children’s Rights Association” and other charities are a permanent and strategic collaboration, aimed strictly at the service of the Syrian community.

“The Children’s Rights Association” is a charitable organization active in protecting children from abuse in all its forms, and to enlighten them regarding their rights and duties within the community. It also aims to alleviate their suffering and protect them from poverty, violence and all forms of exploitation, in order to ensure a decent life for them.  

The organization also has an effective role in the fight against school drop-outs, as well as in honoring outstanding performance by students, encouraging them to pursue the full extent of their potential.
