Syriatel develops new methods to support Syrian youth

Description

Syriatel was the first in taking up university students and transferring its staff’s expertise to them.

In 2009 , Syriatel launched ((Student Support)) program to provide institute and university students with jobs in its points of service and Call centers, with working hours that fit their educational schedules.

This program attracted the attention of many college students, whereas until today, 494 students have joined and have expressed their thanks to Syriatel for making this opportunity available to them, which is an important start to their professional careers.

Mohammed Daiani: second year -Graphic Design

Mohammad expressed his great enthusiasm for this program, although his studies in graphic design are far from the field of work in the program, but he liked starting his first career steps with Syriatel, because its name has a big impact in the Syrian market .

Ghaida Hatamleh: second year -Economics

she stressed on the importance of such programs in the life of the students , as it prepares them to entering the field of work with considerable gained experience, with high flexibility in the selection of appropriate work hours.

Iyad Kadi: second year -Business Administration

The family atmosphere within Syriatel and the attention given to the employees was beyond Iyad expectations, whereas every one receives respect and appreciation, whatever role one plays.

Ahmed Hilal Eddine: third year –Economics

Hilal summoned up all he had to say about his love and appreciation of Syriatel by saying (If you wish to grow, you have to start with Syriatel)

Within the context of the healthy and comfortable work environment provided by Syriatel to its employees, it has recently provided Damascus and Aleppo call centers with massage seats used by staff during their breaks.

As part of its social responsibility ,Syriatel has adopted several programs presenting Syrian young people with different opportunities in order to demonstrate their real skills and talents.
