What are the electronic prepaid internet vouchers Easy One (Electronic EZ1)?
Electronic EZ1 is an electronic prepaid internet voucher available to all Syriatel customers. It offers you easy access to the internet via a dial-up connection. You only need to send a text message (SMS) with the value of the desired EZ1 voucher to the short code 1818. The cost of this SMS is SYP 4 for postpaid lines and SYP 6 for prepaid cards.
What is SURF and how can I subscribe to it?
SURF is the 3.5G HSDPA technology which allows you to access and surf the internet with high-speed connection which complies with the latest 3.5G Technologies. You can subscribe to Postpaid SURF or Prepaid SURF by visiting one of Syriatel’s points of service.
How can I activate the GPRS service and use the internet on my handset?
You can easily activate the GPRS service and get the needed settings by sending a blank SMS to the short code 1211. You will receive an SMS with the settings that you need to save so that you’ll be able to enjoy using the internet on your handset. The cost of this SMS is SYP 4 for postpaid lines and SYP 6 for prepaid cards.
How can I activate the MMS service?

To activate the MMS service and get the needed settings, you should send a blank SMS to the short code 1211. You will receive an SMS with the settings that you need to save so that you’ll be able to send and receive MMSs. The cost of this SMS is SYP 4 for postpaid lines and SYP 6 for prepaid cards.

What is Syriatel’s Electronic Point of Service ?

Having created an account on, you can benefit from many services, e.g.  the ability to check your itemized bill, your daily consumed volume of your SURF line, your daily consumption of your postpaid line, and your Ya Hala prepaid card balance, as well as many other services.

In addition, you can send 5 free local SMSs on a monthly basis.

How can I obtain the PUK code in case my SIM card is blocked?

You can visit Syriatel’s Electronic Point of Service,or call *111#, or call our Customer Service center on 111 from any postpaid line, 222 from any Ya Hala prepaid card or 0933222111 from any other line. The customer service representative will verify all the details related to the owner of the line or card before giving the PUK code.

You can also visit one of Syriatel's Points of Service. In this case, you need to bring your ID with you.

How can I get a Syriatel line?

To get Ya Hala  prepaid card, you can visit any of Syriatel’s points of service or sub-dealers. To get a postpaid line, you can only visit one of Syriatel’s points of service.

Can I call a number of people of my choice at a reduced tariff?

Friends and family is a service that enables all postpaid customers to be connected with their family members and friends at a low cost and without any monthly fee. You can choose 5 mobile numbers that belong to Syriatel network and 2 other landline numbers, and add them all to your “friends and family list”.

The tariff of the calls made to the 5 mobile numbers belonging to your list becomes SYP 4 (per minute) instead of SYP 5 (per minute), and the tariff of the calls made to the other 2 landline numbers becomes SYP 6 (per minute) instead of SYP 7 (per minute).

When can I make calls at a lower cost?

All postpaid customers can benefit from the off-peak tariff everyday between 1 a.m. and 9 a.m. The tariff of the mobile-to-mobile calls made during the off-peak hours becomes SYP 4 (per minute) instead of SYP 5 (per minute), and the tariff of the mobile-to-landline calls becomes SYP 6 (per minute) instead of SYP 7 (per minute).

Moreover, all Syriatel postpaid customers can benefit from the Happy Friday Hours every Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The tariff of the mobile-to-mobile calls made during the Happy Friday hours becomes SYP 4 (per minute) instead of SYP 5 (per minute), and the tariff of the mobile-to-landline calls becomes SYP 6 (per minute) instead of SYP 7 (per minute).

How can I get an itemized bill?

Syriatel offers all postpaid customers the itemized bill services that show them each outgoing call separately, together with its relevant time, date, and cost. The itemized bill also shows the details related to any added services. The itemized bill services are classified as:

Monthly itemized bill service: This service enables you to get a monthly itemized bill for a monthly fee of SYP 50.

Starless itemized bill service: This service enables you to get a starless itemized bill on request. The service fee is SYP 50.

I am going to travel abroad, but I don’t know what to do to keep my postpaid line.

If you wish to take your postpaid line with you, you can choose one of Syriatel roaming services which enable you to use your line in the countries whose operators have signed a roaming agreement with Syriatel without having to change your settings or handset.

However, if you are not willing to take your postpaid line with you, especially if your trip is long (between one month and one year), you can subscribe to Syriatel temporary suspension service which allows you to suspend your line for a maximum period of 12 months and a minimum of one month.

This service costs you SYP 50 per month instead of the monthly subscription fee (SYP 400).

How can I settle my postpaid line’s bill through “Abili Fatora” service without having to give my mobile number to the sub-dealer?

To ensure complete privacy, Syriatel provides each customer with a secret code that you can give to Syriatel sub-dealers instead of your mobile number. You can obtain your secret code free of charge if you key in the following command: *150*50# and then press "Call".

How do I settle my invoice?

You can always visit any of Syriatel's Points of Service to settle your invoice. However, if you are unwilling or unable to visit our Points of Service, you can benefit from the convenient settlement methods that Syriatel offers:

Payment via “Abili Fatora” service:

This service enables you to settle your invoice or pay an advanced payment when you visit any of Syriatel sub-dealers.

Direct debit service:

You can pay all your mobile bills by direct debit if you have an account at one of the participating banks.

Payment via ATM service:

This service enables you to settle your postpaid line's bills anytime via the automated teller machines (ATM) of the Commercial Bank of Syria and Real Estate Bank available throughout Syria.

Payment via SMS Service:

This service enables you to settle your invoice through the Text Messages Service (SMS) if you have a bank account at the Commercial Bank of Syria.

Payment via Web Service:

This service enables you to settle your invoice through the internet if you have a bank account at the Commercial Bank of Syria.

Why are advanced payments required?

The subscription to postpaid lines is monitored and controlled by a credit policy according to which a limit for the calls is set.

The calls limit is modified according to certain criteria, like the customer’s subscription date and commitment to settle invoices and advanced payments on time.

When calls exceed the defined calls limit, an advanced payment is required.

How can I benefit from the Saving Bundles? Can I really make considerable savings on my bill if I subscribe to them?

Syriatel offers you a number of bundles which enable you to make a considerable saving in your consumption. To maximize the benefit, you need to choose the bundles which best suit your needs.

Saving Bundles: These bundles offer local mobile minutes at a discount that ranges from 26% to 50% according to the selected bundle.

Local SMS Bundles: These bundles enable you to spend less money and send more text messages. You can make a considerable saving between 50% and 88% on a monthly basis according to the chosen bundle.

MMS Bundles: They enable you to make a saving between 50% and 70% on a monthly basis according to the chosen bundle.

International SMS Bundle: This bundle enables you to send 50 international text messages at a 83% discount.

GPRS Mega Plans: These bundles allow you to stay connected to the internet through your mobile phone. They also allow you to make a big saving between 33% and 60% on a monthly basis according to the chosen bundle.

I cannot get some services because my Ya Hala card isn't registered under my name

You can visit one of Syriatel points of service, with your personal ID and provide the employee with the following information:

  •  The value of the last denomination you charged your Ya Hala card with.
  •  Eight numbers you called during the last 30 days.


In addition, you should sign a form stating that the original owner (whose information is already registered in our database) has the right to recover the ownership of this card within three months of the transferring date.

Is the controlling number able to inquire about the balance of Ya Hala Aman card?
The controlling number can inquire about the balance of Ya Hala Aman card by sending an SMS to the short code 1231 with the following command: balance# Ya Hala Aman number# The cost of this SMS is SYP 5 for postpaid lines and SYP 7.5 for prepaid cards.
What is the fee of the feature which enables me to control the outgoing messages?
This feature is free of charge for all Ya Hala Aman customers. It enables you to control the outgoing messages by restricting them to a limited list of numbers.
How can I recharge my Ya Hala prepaid card through Abili service without having to give my mobile number to the sub-dealer?

How can I call somebody if I don’t have enough balance in my Ya Hala card?

By using “call me back” service you will be able to make calls even if you don’t have enough balance in your card .

Just dial *110*the mobile number you want to call you back# then press the dial key.  
E.g.  *110*0933222111#   
The person to whom you sent the free request will receive an SMS from your side with ”please call me back”, and you will be charged nothing.

This service is exclusively available to postpaid customers.

How I can keep my Ya Hala card active in case I have to travel?

If you have to travel or you are unable to use your Ya Hala card at least once every 90 days (the main condition for lifetime validity), you can subscribe to the one-year validity service which gives you the validity of 365 days.

The yearly subscription fee for this service is SYP 50 and it will be renewed automatically each year. You can subscribe to the service by sending a blank SMS to the short code 1238 or by visiting Syriatel’s Electronic Point of Service at my.syriatel.sy

How can my Ya Hala prepaid card get lifetime validity?

You can keep your Ya Hala card active for life as long as you use it at least once every 90 days.  The card is considered used when one of the following actions takes place: charging your balance, making a call or sending a charged  SMS, using GPRS, sending a multimedia message (MMS), or subscribing to one of Syriatel charged services.

What are the available saving packages?

Syriatel offers you a number of bundles which enable you to make a considerable saving in your consumption. To maximize the benefit, you need to choose the bundles which best suit your needs.

Local SMS Bundles: These bundles enable you to spend less money and send more text messages. You can make a considerable saving between 67% and 92% on a monthly basis according to the chosen bundle.
